At Woodstone, we aim to instil a passion for PE and sports to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be the best they can be in PE lessons, sports competitions and festivals, active playtimes and across the whole curriculum. Through physical education and sport, we aim to teach our pupils new skills and values and show them how to improve in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. By providing a wide variety of sporting opportunities both in school and off-site, our pupils will become healthy and active young people ready for the next stage of their lives. We strive to give children the opportunity to compete internally (intra-school), and with other schools (inter-school) to instil values of teamwork, determination, respect, encouragement, passion and communication.

I'm passionate about PE and sport both in and out of school. I love going to the gym and a wide variety of sports matches in my spare time. I strive to inject this passion into my PE role at Woodstone, both within the PE curriculum and extra-curricular sporting activities.
